Tess Fahlgren on Live Under the Big Sky

This is my third time on Live Under the Big Sky. While it can be nerve wracking to be on radio, Stan makes it easy. There has been so much going on with the skatepark lately, especially in regards to the location, and he asked all the right questions so we could inform the public on its status.

We started from the beginning, talking about the origins of the first skatepark, back in 2005-2008, when I was just a kid, and to this skatepark in 2022. Clark Moorman, Nick Holom, and I were sitting on the concrete at the old skatepark and talking about how we had one of the worst skateparks in a state that is a skateboarding destination. We realized that we were adults, with plenty of experience, and maybe we could do something about it. Stan and I talked about that time and where we went from there, including raising funds, talking to the city, and finding a location.

Now, we have plenty of money to build a skatepark and we are ready to do it! The only issue is confirming a location. What are the concerns? How many people have them? Find out more by listening to the episode.
